I went on a little trip to The Calico Ghost Town in Yermo, CA I know we really can’t do much with social distancing but if you have kids or want to get out of town for a drive I would recommend you to head over for a visit. The cost to get in per adult was $9 and children were $6. Stepping into the ghost town was walking into the wild-west it had a feel of Knotts Berry Farm and Disney’s Frontier Land wrapped into one. A bit bummed due to no funnel cakes to be found. Calico has a wonderful train that circles around the ghost town, due to the pandemic the train was not operating. There were several shops open that you can purchase cowboy hats, toy guns, candy, candles, and other souvenirs. I would encourage people to try the activities that are offered there for a small fee my niece enjoyed panning for gold like a traditional miner, and I would like to say my highlight was walking in The Mystery Shack is a house that is built at an angle some people have been prone to get nauseous and get sick. My four-year-old niece enjoyed it.
